What this website collects, how we use it and who to ask.
Last updated 4 Nov 2026
This page explains what information the Four Corners Regional Education Cooperative #1 (REC1) website collects and what we do with it.
What we collect
- The contact form. Your name, email address and message go to REC1 staff so we can reply.
- Event registration. Our training registration forms run on Google Forms. We use what you enter to manage the event and send you reminders and follow-ups.
- The mailing list. If you sign up, we use your email address to send REC1 news. You can ask to be removed at any time.
- Site visits. Our website host, Squarespace, records basic information about visits, such as the pages viewed and the type of browser, and uses cookies to run the site and count visits. Squarespace lists the cookies it uses.
You can browse this website without giving us your name or contact information.
How we use it
We use this information to answer you, run our programs and events, and keep the website working. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Public records
REC1 is a New Mexico public entity. Messages and forms you send us may be public records, and we may have to release them under the Inspection of Public Records Act.
Links to other websites
This site links to other organizations, such as state agencies, member districts, Facebook and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies. REC1 doesn’t control them, and a link isn’t an endorsement of their content.
