Evaluation and eligibility: Child Find, evaluation timelines, reevaluations, independent educational evaluations, and the move from early intervention to preschool services
IEP development and services: meeting procedures, prior written notice, least restrictive environment, extended school year, and transition planning
Staffing and service delivery: shortages, missed services and compensatory education, and the use of contractors or virtual providers
Discipline and behavior: manifestation determinations, suspension and expulsion, behavior support plans, and restraint and seclusion
Disputes and complaints: resolving parent concerns early, state complaints, mediation, and due process
Related compliance: Section 504, FERPA and records, Medicaid billing for school-based services, and PED monitoring findings
