Northwest NM School Leaders’ Network
NM REC-1 is serving as the fiscal agent for the Aztec Schools’ Northwest NM School Leaders Network, funded through the Frost Foundation. Dr. Warman Hall, Aztec Schools Federal Program Officer, is the project director.
The intent of the project is for experienced school administrators to provide on-going support and mentoring for new and novice school principals from the REC-1 member districts.
Opportunity for Support
We’re asking member districts to identify 1 or 2 new/novice principals who may benefit from experienced, externals support. Names of recommended principals should be sent to Dr. Warman Hall at fphallwa@aztecschools.com.
Opportunity to Serve
To provide assistance for new/novice principals, we are seeking up to 10 – 12 experienced school or district administrators. Current district administrators are welcome to make recommendations, and retired administrators are welcome. All mentors will receive an honorarium for their service.
Interested administrators should send a cover letter and brief resume to David Bowman, REC-1 Executive Director, at director@nmrec1.org.
