We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven professional to join our high-performing team as the ECHS Coordinator for the Extending Equity into the Digital Workforce (EEDW) project. This is a full-time position with 1.5 years remaining in a federally funded five-year initiative focused on expanding student access to digital workforce opportunities in New Mexico.

About the Project
|
EEDW is a federally funded project of the Four Corners Regional Education Cooperative #1 (REC-1).
|
|
|
|
|
The EEDW project seeks to increase student interest and enrollment in higher education courses, with a focus on Information Technology (IT). Through targeted outreach, robust support systems, and strengthened stakeholder awareness, we aim to boost dual-credit IT course participation in Early College High Schools (ECHSs) in New Mexico.
|
|
|
|
The Role
|
As ECHS Coordinator, you will guide and promote the implementation of EEDW activities across 10 participating ECHSs. Your leadership will directly support schools in achieving project goals and improving access to meaningful IT learning experiences. Key responsibilities include:
|
|
|
|
- Overseeing site-based implementation and building strong relationships with school personnel
- Assisting schools with budgeting and compliance activities
- Managing enrollment data and maintaining rosters for evaluation purposes
|
- Coordinating communication between schools, higher education partners, and the evaluation team
- Supporting the delivery of student and staff events, resources, and messaging
- Driving outreach to target students and supporting dual-credit IT pathways
|

- Self-managed, highly organized, and goal-oriented
- Skilled in building positive relationships with educators and leaders
- Collaborative, with strong verbal communication skills
|
- Experienced in managing education programs, especially federally funded initiatives
- Knowledgeable about dual credit systems and the ECHS model in New Mexico
|
|
|
|
|
- Master’s degree in an education-related field
- 8+ years of program administration experience
- 5+ years of school or federally funded program leadership
|
|
|
Employment Details
|
This is a grant-funded position offered through Farmington Municipal Schools, which is serving as the employment agent on behalf of REC-1 for this project. All benefits and standard employment policies apply. The ECHS Coordinator will report to the EEDW Project Director at REC-1.
