Elementary teachers (mainly), but teachers in upper grades, reading specialists, librarians, and others will find plenty of value in attending, as well. This is information you need when helping students of all ages!.

Presenter Information
David Bowman: REC-1 Executive Director, Reading Specialist
|
David was the designer and director of the Three Rivers Reading Intervention Program, which worked with more than 2,000 teachers and 25,000 students throughout NM, CO, AZ, and TX. He holds an education leadership license (3-B) and a NM reading endorsement. He is the author of Roadmap for Reading Instruction.

Shantell Berrett Blake: Reading Horizons Director of Professional Services and Dyslexia Specialist
|
Shantell is a Dyslexia Interventionist, with certifications in Orton-Gillingham, LETRS, and CERI. She is a member of Decoding Dyslexia Utah and the International Dyslexia Association, as well as certification as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Paul Black: Reading Horizons Education and Literacy Specialist
|
Paul has advanced degrees in Human Exceptionality and School Psychology. He has 18 years of experience as a nationally certified school psychologies helping educators identify, remediate, and monitor students’ needs, particularly in psychology, literacy, and technology.
